This set of boxing forms is a simplified practice routine adapted by Master Chen Zhiqiang, one of the Eight Great Heavenly Kings of Taijiquan in Chenjiagou, based on the traditional old-frame Taijiquan for beginners. It is concise yet has a complete practice sequence. It retains the movement requirements, essentials, and characteristics of Chen-style Taijiquan. Each basic move of Chen-style Taijiquan is taught and explained, which helps learners master the basic movements of Taijiquan and lay a solid foundation. The movements are arranged in an easy-to-learn and -remember way, making it highly suitable for people who are new to Taijiquan. It is a Taijiquan routine that everyone can learn.

 

The Course Features:

– A simplified routine adapted for beginners, retaining the characteristics of Chen-style Taijiquan. It is easy to learn and helps to firmly establish a foundation.

– Each individual move is decomposed in great detail, with meticulous teaching and reminders of the essentials of boxing techniques. Learners first learn each move separately, and then these learned moves are strung together into a 3-minute short routine, enabling beginners to master it easily.

– Instructor: Meng Fan, an inheritor of Chen-style Taijiquan, an International Taijiquan Culture Promotion Ambassador, and a 6th Duan of Chinese Wushu.

– The course is presented with Chinese voice – over and English subtitles.
